Hi and hope everyone is having a nice weekend. I’m in Georgia visiting with my family. My parents are in town this weekend so I decided to come too.

I was thinking that I do a lot of product reviews but not a lot of follow ups. I wanted to do a post today on several products I’ve reviewed this year and what my continued thoughts/results have been and whether I’m still using them.

Suave Professionals Moroccan Argon Oil Body Lotion and Dry Oil Spray. I just finished the last of the big bottle of body lotion and I will definitely purchase it again. Mainly because I enjoy the scent so much and the lotion is very hydrating. I haven’t used the dry body oil as much.

Yogi Clothing Shirred Cropped Pants and Pocket Hoodie. It’s gotten too warm to wear the hoodie but I wear these crops on the regular and always receive compliments on them. I even wore them for one of the “looks” for my book photo shoot.

ALDI! Yes, I am still shopping at ALDI. I would say I go once every 4-6 weeks to restock on my favorite staples. Working with ALDI this year was really awesome and it 100% converted me to a brand enthusiast as well as many of my friends and readers!

Latisse. When I first started using Latisse I felt like I saw some results but it kind of tapered off after that and I never experienced the “wow, my lashes are so long and full” that I’d heard from many others. I’m still using it and I’ll keep you updated if anything changes for me. Has anyone else had this experience with Latisse?

Jane Iredale Mineral Foundation. Love, love, love. Use it every day along with my Image MD tinted moisturizer my favorite Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage concealer. I’m pretty obsessed with my current skincare routine and it’s working so well for me.

Update on giving up the flat iron and new hair products.  In June I swore off the flat iron for the summer and purchased a new blow dryer and hot rollers. So, I have reduced my flat iron use by 90%, which I’m pretty happy with. I am making a conscious effort every time I dry my hair to use a big round brush and attempt to “blow it out” and it’s much smoother and full of volume overall. I love the blow dryer that I purchased and would recommend it to anyone. It’s lightweight, powerful and easy to maneuver. The hot rollers were too big so I went back and exchanged them for a set with varying sizes. I use them when I’m going out or on special occasions.

5.30vitafusion.jpg

vitafusion MultiVites Hair, Skin and Nails Support. I started taking these vitamins about 6 weeks ago and I swear that my nails are noticeably stronger and my hair has grown faster (this may also be thanks to not using the flat iron as much!). My bottle is empty and I’m buying them again!

St. Ives Fresh Hydration Continuous Spray Lotion. This stuff is awesome, especially for my gym bag. Cannot recommend enough!

Have you discovered any new products via my blog? What type of product reviews/giveaways do you want to see more or less of? And let me know if you want follow ups about anything not listed above!

Breakfast + What I Bought at Trader Joe’s

Breakfast + What I Bought at Trader Joe’s

I am such a creature of habit when it comes to breakfast. 95% of the time I’m craving a breakfast that is on the sweet side. That mostly alternates between smoothies or yogurt bowls with overnight oats, chia pudding or oatmeal occasionally thrown in there. On the rare occasion I go savory – it’s scrambled [...]

Life Lately: Summer So Far

Life Lately: Summer So Far

I want to bottle up this summer and make it last forever (well, maybe minus the wildly hot and humid weather that makes running a big thumbs down). I mentioned this in my last post…but I am really enjoying the slower pace and the days that feel like they have more space. While I’m trying [...]

So Many Dinner Ideas

So Many Dinner Ideas

Happy Friday! I hope this post finds you well and enjoying the summer. We are in the dog days of it over here in Charlotte – the heat and humidity is off the charts – but it’s something I’ll embrace because I deeply appreciate the massive slow down that summer has brought. A lot of [...]

Happy weekend! Another week in the books! I got three runs in (6.5 miles, 5.5 miles, 5.5 miles) and I have a trail run planned for tomorrow. Total weekly mileage will end up around 30-35 miles depending on if I go for 13 or 17 tomorrow! I’m 16 weeks out from the Golden Ultra so [...]

Life Lately: 8 Years Old, A New Piercing, Trail Training and More

Happy Memorial Day Weekend. It’s a very rainy one here in Charlotte and while I am a little bummed not to be spending the weekend in Florida with the fam or by the pool at our swim club (just opened for the season!), I’m also welcoming a slower pace and time at home. It’s been [...]
