Getting Away

Surprise, I’m in the Atlanta Airport.

I booked a flight at the last minute to visit my parents for the weekend. I haven’t seen them since Christmas and I finally reached the point where I couldn’t wait any longer. I ate the egg and cheese off of an egg and cheese sandwich during the first leg of my trip and got a strawberry banana smoothie from Starbucks in Atlanta.

So I’m off to Florida for a weekend of family time, soaking up the beach and personal restoration.

I hope that each one of you has a wonderful weekend and that you do something that makes you feel happy, loved and restored.

So I have been reading your blog for quite awhile, and when I saw your journey to where you are currently with your career I felt so incredibly inspired. For years I have wanted to leave the corporate world and turn my passion for a healthy lifestyle into a career. Well, I finally signed up to get certified as a Yoga instructor, something I have wanted to do for 3 years! (starts Oct. 8th. CAN.NOT.WAIT!) Reading your blog really helped me realize that its possible to pursue your dreams! Thank you, thank you, thank you. 🙂 I too love cross fit, running and can relate so much to you and to where you are now. Have a great time visiting your parents!

When a girl needs family time she should honor that. Good for you for listening to your heart. Enjoy! I’m reading Heart ofYoga right now for Yoga Teacher Training. Awesome stuff! Enjoy your weekend! The beaches are beautiful. If you have time Sunday at 9:30 am go to Balance Health Studio on 30 a and take Kelli’s “spicy” flow! It’s awesome! And a great sweat! Make a reservation cause it fills up!
