Hi and hope you guys are having a great short week! I’m switching gears for today’s post and talking about some natural beauty products that I found recently at Whole Foods that I’ve really been loving.

The week before Finn’s birth I was picking a few things up at Whole Foods when I noticed that they had a weekend sale where all face + body products were 25% off. The next thing I knew, I was wandering the aisles and researching products on my phone.

I’m not sure why but finding new beauty products has always been fun and exciting to me. When I was in Europe last summer I spent hours in the pharmacies there picking out things to bring home with me and I can spend forever walking around Sephora, Ulta and similar stores.

I’ve absolutely loved the things that I bought at Whole Foods recently so I wanted to share them with you!

Thayers Witch Hazel, 365 Gentle Skin Cleanser and Indian Healing Clay

Whole Foods Natural Beauty Products That I'm Loving

After hearing about Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel for what seems like years, I had to add some to my cart…and I’m so glad that I did! I give my face a quick swipe with this toner morning and evening and it’s so refreshing and not drying in the least. I also feel like it helps to take off any residual makeup that might still be lingering after cleansing.

The 365 Gentle Skin Cleanser came highly recommended and as someone who has always had an appreciation for very basic face cleansers like Cetaphil and Ceravae, I wanted to try it. The verdict? It’s awesome! I think it cleanses even better than Cetaphil and it’s extremely gentle on my skin. And at $5.99 it’s quite the steal!

The Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay is the only product that I’ve yet to try but I can’t wait to give it a go. It’s received a 4.4 rating on Amazon with over 15,000 reviews. It’s dry and you mix it with apple cider vinegar or water and then spread the paste on your face. Apparently it’s supposed to almost make your face “pulsate” while it’s on so I’m looking forward to seeing what that’s all about. I got into quite a good at-home face mask routine while I was pregnant and need to get back on that now to give myself a little TLC.

Andalou Naturals Body Lotion, Jason Body Wash

Whole Foods Natural Beauty Products That I'm Loving

The Andalou Naturals body lotion in mandarin vanilla smells absolutely amazing. It contains rosehip and argan oils with shea and cocoa butters. It’s so relaxing to put on after the shower, although I am careful not to put it close to my breasts since I’m breastfeeding and don’t want baby overwhelmed by scents. (I’m still using this Burt’s Bees Belly Butter on my stomach and chest postpartum, FYI.)

I have been a big fan of Jason body wash for years so I was sure to restock while they were on sale. I love the rosewater scent and you can never go wrong with coconut anything in my opinion.

Dr. Hauschka Revitalizing Day Cream, Mad Hippie Vitamin C Serum and Acure Brilliantly Brightening Facial Scrub

Whole Foods Natural Beauty Products That I'm Loving

I got the Dr. Hauschka Revitalizing Day Cream at a HUGE discount! Not only was it already on sale in the store but there was also the 25% discount. I think it retails for around $75 and I got it for $40-something. I googled it in the store and it had amazing reviews online so I decided to try it. I’m glad I did! It’s a lightweight moisturizer that is perfect for summer. It’s formulated with botanical extracts and all Dr. Hauschka products are free of synthetic fragrances, dyes and preservatives as well as mineral oil, silicones and PEGs.

I LOVE vitamin c serums! This Mad Hippie vitamin c serum topped all of the lists that I researched of “best beauty products at Whole Foods.” The serum helps to tighten, brighten and smooth skin and features a blend of antioxidants that help even skin tone and improve texture and appearance of skin. I have been using it morning and evening.

Finally, I needed to add some sort of exfoliator to my cleaning regimen a few days a week so I added this Accure Brilliantly Brightening Facial Scrub to my cart. It’s a blend of sea kelp, lemon peel and French green clay. These ingredients work together to detoxify and cleanse without stripping moisture from the skin. Like most of the other products in this post, it’s vegan, paraben free, sulfate free, phthalate free, mineral oil free, petrolatum free, silicone free and cruelty free.

And here’s a postpartum no makeup skin picture after using a lot of the products listed above! 🙂

QUESTION

I love trying new products and I’m sure many of you do too! I really appreciate recommendations from others so I’d love to hear if you have any recent discoveries to share…anything from bath products (counting the days until I can take a bath again post-surgery) to face stuff to body care! Oh makeup and hair always welcome too!
