Over the last few years I have become a big fan of Moroccan argan oil products for my hair and I use a Moroccan oil shampoo and a serum daily. I’ve had great results with how much moisture and shine these products add to my hair.

Recently, I was offered an opportunity to try a new Moroccan oil skincare line from Suave®. I immediately jumped at the chance to test it given how well the hair products have worked for me. Suave®  Body Care is launching products in a new Suave Professionals® line, giving people access to premium quality products with high-end skincare ingredients. Suave Professionals® Moroccan Infusion features authentic argan oil from Morocco. This lightweight oil is known to be rich in nutrients and antioxidants and leaves skin looking and feeling soft and radiant. I was provided with both the body lotion and the dry body oil spray to test. I received the products several weeks ago and have used them daily since. Here are my favorite things about the individual products.

Starting with the Dry Body Oil, what’s not to love? I’ve written several times before about my affinity for body oils and this one goes on lightly with a non-greasy feel and moisturizes for hours and hours. I sprayed some on early in the day and my legs still had a nice, moisturized sheen after working out, teaching and running errands. Personally, I feel like a light sheen helps to improve the appearance of my skin and muscle tone. The packaging is small and compact and perfect for throwing in your gym bag for post-shower hydration.

My favorite thing about the moisturizing lotion is its amazing scent. I really don’t even feel like I need perfume after applying it. This is great for me because I like a fresh/clean smell when I’m training and teaching versus smelling like I’m doused in perfume. The lotion absorbs quickly and provides long-lasting moisture.

Breakfast + What I Bought at Trader Joe’s

Breakfast + What I Bought at Trader Joe’s

I am such a creature of habit when it comes to breakfast. 95% of the time I’m craving a breakfast that is on the sweet side. That mostly alternates between smoothies or yogurt bowls with overnight oats, chia pudding or oatmeal occasionally thrown in there. On the rare occasion I go savory – it’s scrambled [...]

Life Lately: Summer So Far

Life Lately: Summer So Far

I want to bottle up this summer and make it last forever (well, maybe minus the wildly hot and humid weather that makes running a big thumbs down). I mentioned this in my last post…but I am really enjoying the slower pace and the days that feel like they have more space. While I’m trying [...]

So Many Dinner Ideas

Happy Friday! I hope this post finds you well and enjoying the summer. We are in the dog days of it over here in Charlotte – the heat and humidity is off the charts – but it’s something I’ll embrace because I deeply appreciate the massive slow down that summer has brought. A lot of [...]

Life Lately: 8 Years Old, A New Piercing, Trail Training and More

Happy Memorial Day Weekend. It’s a very rainy one here in Charlotte and while I am a little bummed not to be spending the weekend in Florida with the fam or by the pool at our swim club (just opened for the season!), I’m also welcoming a slower pace and time at home. It’s been [...]
