Hello, hello! I hope that Wednesday was kind to you…if it wasn’t I’m about to make it better for you with a SWEET giveaway! 🙂

I had a pretty solid Wednesday. It started out with teaching my 6:30 a.m. yoga class at Y2. My yogis were out in full force for some hot yoga and we filled the room 45 strong. This is not the norm! I think everyone just wanted to be warm since it was a whopping 32 degrees in Charlotte this morning. I was super grateful and super energized after teaching.

The remainder of my day was spent training a friend, writing email blasts and other work for Metro, doing blog stuff, house cleaning and so on. I did take a break with Sullie girl to go for a quick 30 minute run. I’m so proud of her. Almost 8 and still running with her momma!

I wrapped up the day with a meeting about my mega blog overhaul that is coming Summer 2014 (BEYOND ready and excited for this) and teaching another class at Y2. It’s spring break for the public schools so sub opps overfloweth.

Let’s talk about that giveaway! The second “4 year blog anniversary extravaganza” giveaway is from Erin McDermott Jewelry. Erin and I started working together over a year and a half ago and she is my favorite local business woman to support.

I visit Erin and her sweet bulldog Sukie on the regular and continue to be inspired by her creativity and success. This girl works hard!

1.30erin

My everyday jewelry collection is now made up of 90% Erin McDermott pieces (bracelets, necklaces, earrings, etc) but I hold two items nearest and dearest to my heart.

12.22necklace

My disc necklace and my tiny charm buddha necklace.

8.10om

My Om Namah Shivaya disc necklace was the first piece Erin ever made for me. I had it custom made with a sanskrit mantra that I love. I have only taken it off a handful of times since picking it up in August 2012. And my tiny Buddha was a piece I purchased for myself and for both for layering with my disc necklace as well as the delicacy of wearing it on its own.

Now, for the giveaway.

You get to pick between my two favorite pieces.

bepresent

Erin’s Be Present Disc Necklace. This is the perfect necklace to wear on runs, during yoga practices and in your day to day life to remind you to breathe and be in the moment.

“Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.” -Buddha

tinybuddha

Or the Tiny Buddha Charm Necklace.

To enter the giveaway leave a comment telling me which necklace you would like to have! Giveaway ends Thursday, April 17 at midnight EST. U.S. residents only.

BONUS! Erin is offering 15% off of anything on her site to my readers. Use the code PBR at check out to receive your discount. She has so much great stuff for spring/summer.

Again, thanks for reading and supporting PBR. I wouldn’t be celebrating 4 years of blogging without y’all!

xoxo,

Jen

Breakfast + What I Bought at Trader Joe’s

Breakfast + What I Bought at Trader Joe’s

I am such a creature of habit when it comes to breakfast. 95% of the time I’m craving a breakfast that is on the sweet side. That mostly alternates between smoothies or yogurt bowls with overnight oats, chia pudding or oatmeal occasionally thrown in there. On the rare occasion I go savory – it’s scrambled [...]

Life Lately: Summer So Far

Life Lately: Summer So Far

I want to bottle up this summer and make it last forever (well, maybe minus the wildly hot and humid weather that makes running a big thumbs down). I mentioned this in my last post…but I am really enjoying the slower pace and the days that feel like they have more space. While I’m trying [...]

So Many Dinner Ideas

So Many Dinner Ideas

Happy Friday! I hope this post finds you well and enjoying the summer. We are in the dog days of it over here in Charlotte – the heat and humidity is off the charts – but it’s something I’ll embrace because I deeply appreciate the massive slow down that summer has brought. A lot of [...]

Life Lately: 8 Years Old, A New Piercing, Trail Training and More

Happy Memorial Day Weekend. It’s a very rainy one here in Charlotte and while I am a little bummed not to be spending the weekend in Florida with the fam or by the pool at our swim club (just opened for the season!), I’m also welcoming a slower pace and time at home. It’s been [...]
