Loving Lately + Luxe Box Winner

Happy Friday! Making good on my intention for 2015 to slow down and connect more, my Friday is full of friends! I am all about planning QT with my friends and scheduling meetings make new connections right now. This morning I met a friend for a (KILLER!) workout followed by a coffee date. I met another friend for a heart-to-heart conversation over lunch and I have plans for a girl’s night tonight. Lucky me! <3

1.9coffee

(coconut milk latte from littleSpoon)

I’ve had this running list of favorite things going for a few weeks now and I cannot wait to share them with you. Here we go!

Spotify. It took me forever to get on the bandwagon but I love it now. I especially love all of the playlists you can choose by genre and mood. Sad to report that I still have not converted to using it for yoga. I just love having all of my playlists on my old school iPod and being able to shuffle around and go back between old and new.

1.9snacks

The Good Bean Roasted Chickpea Snacks and Purely Elizabeth Granola. One of my students gave the chick peas and they are so addictive! I love the smoky chili & lime flavor. It’s a nice way to switch it up if you always default to nuts for a crunchy snack. This is my second time buying Purely Elizabeth Granola and it’s amazing. What I love most about it is the combo of salty/sweet with just the right crisp crunch.

1.9treats

Virbac C.E.T HEXtra Oral Hygiene Chews. My vet sells these (but you can get them on Amazon much cheaper!) and gave one to Zoey when we were there for a check up. She loved it so I bought a few bags. She and Sullie both go crazy over these.

1.9hummus

Roots Hummus…especially this new Mango Sriracha flavor. Roots is an Asheville-based hummus maker that calls themselves “the microbrewery of hummus.” Lucky for all of you, they are starting to spread distribution and are now available in the southeast and in a limited capacity out west. This flavor was just introduced a few months ago. I didn’t know if I would like it but the spicy/sweet contrast keeps me going back for more and more dips.

An amazing discount for my readers from my friend Sarah’s online boutique, Social Dress Shop. Sarah is clearing out all of her inventory to make way for new this spring. She’s offering 50% off anything on the site excluding Camilyn Beth with discount code PBR50. Happy shopping! 🙂

I didn’t mention this on the blog when it was happening but I was contacted by Charlotte Magazine in November about being featured for a style profile in the January issue. They came to my house to shoot me in my home along with some of my favorite things. The issue is out on newstands now and you can also check out the story online. Such a cool opportunity!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone! Lots of love to all of you. Thank you for reading and for your support. I can never say it enough.

Breakfast + What I Bought at Trader Joe’s

Breakfast + What I Bought at Trader Joe’s

I am such a creature of habit when it comes to breakfast. 95% of the time I’m craving a breakfast that is on the sweet side. That mostly alternates between smoothies or yogurt bowls with overnight oats, chia pudding or oatmeal occasionally thrown in there. On the rare occasion I go savory – it’s scrambled [...]

Life Lately: Summer So Far

Life Lately: Summer So Far

I want to bottle up this summer and make it last forever (well, maybe minus the wildly hot and humid weather that makes running a big thumbs down). I mentioned this in my last post…but I am really enjoying the slower pace and the days that feel like they have more space. While I’m trying [...]

So Many Dinner Ideas

So Many Dinner Ideas

Happy Friday! I hope this post finds you well and enjoying the summer. We are in the dog days of it over here in Charlotte – the heat and humidity is off the charts – but it’s something I’ll embrace because I deeply appreciate the massive slow down that summer has brought. A lot of [...]

Happy weekend! Another week in the books! I got three runs in (6.5 miles, 5.5 miles, 5.5 miles) and I have a trail run planned for tomorrow. Total weekly mileage will end up around 30-35 miles depending on if I go for 13 or 17 tomorrow! I’m 16 weeks out from the Golden Ultra so [...]

Life Lately: 8 Years Old, A New Piercing, Trail Training and More

Happy Memorial Day Weekend. It’s a very rainy one here in Charlotte and while I am a little bummed not to be spending the weekend in Florida with the fam or by the pool at our swim club (just opened for the season!), I’m also welcoming a slower pace and time at home. It’s been [...]
