Being a yoga teacher, I spend a lot of time in flip flops. They’re the easiest thing to throw on to get me to and from the studio. But the issue with most of the flip flops I wear is that while they’re functional, they’re not very fashionable or supportive. That’s all changed thanks to a new pair of Crocs flip flops. I’ve been walking on air for the last couple of weeks!
These Crocs A-leigh Brushed Metallic Flips are chic and fun to wear while also being extremely comfortable… not something you find very often. They feature a foam footbed that is very cushioned and cozy.
My favorite thing about the A-leigh flip flops is that they have a 1.5 inch wedge. The combination of the brushed metallic design and the lift you get from the wedge make them great for everyday wear… not just with workout gear. I’ve already gotten so much use out of them and I’ve worn them to dress up my yoga clothes, with casual outfits, with jeans and with dresses. While this is not a fashion blog, many of you have asked how I style to go from the studio/gym to my daily life so I shot some photos of various outfits and places I’ve worn my Crocs over the last couple of weeks.
Leaving the studio after teaching… I threw on a hat to cover up my messy hair and paired my Crocs with capris, a racerback tank and a long-sleeve tied around my waist.
Meetings and errands… wearing my Crocs with black yoga capris, a white tank, a long and loose t-shirt and a chunky necklace.
Cookout in the mountains… I paired my Crocs with jeans, a black tank top and a loose mint green t-shirt.
Mother’s Day brunch in the mountains… I paired my Crocs with a sundress, chunky necklace and cross-body bag. These shoes have been such a welcome addition to my wardrobe and I’ll be wearing them non-stop all summer long. You totally want a pair for yourself now, right?
Where would you wear these Crocs A-leigh flip flops this summer.

I am such a creature of habit when it comes to breakfast. 95% of the time I’m craving a breakfast that is on the sweet side. That mostly alternates between smoothies or yogurt bowls with overnight oats, chia pudding or oatmeal occasionally thrown in there. On the rare occasion I go savory – it’s scrambled [...]

I want to bottle up this summer and make it last forever (well, maybe minus the wildly hot and humid weather that makes running a big thumbs down). I mentioned this in my last post…but I am really enjoying the slower pace and the days that feel like they have more space. While I’m trying [...]

Happy Friday! I hope this post finds you well and enjoying the summer. We are in the dog days of it over here in Charlotte – the heat and humidity is off the charts – but it’s something I’ll embrace because I deeply appreciate the massive slow down that summer has brought. A lot of [...]

I recently traveled to Big Bear Lake, California for the inaugural Big Bear Peaks + Pines three-day stage race hosted by TransRockies Running. This was my third TransRockies event in 12 months (see also Colorado + Moab) and I’m here to tell you that they can do no wrong when it comes to race organization [...]

Happy weekend! Another week in the books! I got three runs in (6.5 miles, 5.5 miles, 5.5 miles) and I have a trail run planned for tomorrow. Total weekly mileage will end up around 30-35 miles depending on if I go for 13 or 17 tomorrow! I’m 16 weeks out from the Golden Ultra so [...]

Happy Memorial Day Weekend. It’s a very rainy one here in Charlotte and while I am a little bummed not to be spending the weekend in Florida with the fam or by the pool at our swim club (just opened for the season!), I’m also welcoming a slower pace and time at home. It’s been [...]
