Raise your hand if your workouts have taken a turn for the sweatier since the arrival of summer! It’s a HOT one here in Charlotte (we’re supposed to hit triple digits this week!) and it seems like I’m sweating buckets no matter if I’m at the gym, at the yoga studio or working out outside.

Case in point: the aftermath of letting one of my clients “train the trainer.” She crushed me in the best way possible and I was drenched after a 28-minute workout! I’m not complaining…I love to sweat…the sweatier the better…but I do have to up my sweat protection game during the summer.

I stopped by my local Walgreens a few days ago to restock on the stuff that keeps you smelling fresh! (No one wants a smelly trainer or yoga teacher…and I can’t help the way I smell after a run. Only a shower can help that!)

They are having a huge sale on deodorants and anti-perspirants for men and women.

7.5walgreensdeoderant

I got two for me and two for Tanner since it was such a great deal. (True love when you buy each other deodorant, right?) He prefers a deodorant without an anti-perspirant because he avoids aluminums in deodorant products. I found him Dove and Axe products that sounded like something he’d like. For myself, I purchased Dove GoFresh for day-to-day/less-intense wear and Degree Clinical Protection for heavy sweating occasions.

Walgreens offers four categories of deodorants that you can find in your local Walgreens store and online at their DoDeoBetter landing page.

•       Dry Sprays – Goes on instantly dry
•       Care – Cares for your skin
•       Motion Activated – Protects for 48 hours with Motionsense® technology
•       Clinical Protection – Defends with clinical strength wetness protection

I’m also giving away a $50 Walgreens Gift Card today but before we get to giveaway details, I wanted to share a yoga flow that I put together to help you sweat, strengthen and stretch this summer.

Sweaty Summer Yoga Flow

I share workouts all the time so I thought it would be fun to mix it up and flow today. This is a simple sequence that you can do anywhere. I put together a Pinnable with pictures of all the poses in sequential order, a graphic with pose names and a video so that you can see it all together as a flow.

A sweaty summer yoga flow to strengthen and stretch. Down Dog, Right Side Three Point, Cheetah, Three Point, Twisted Cheetah, Three Point, Mountain Climber, Three Point, Warrior One, Warrior Two, Reverse Warrior, Side Angle, Side Plank, 3x Chaturanga Push Ups, Down Dog, Left Side Three Point, Crescent Lunge, Prayer Twist, Triangle, Side Plank, 3x Chaturanga Push Ups, Down Dog, Boat to Canoe x 5 with a 10 count flutter on last one, Down Dog, Repeat all standing poses on other side, finish with Bridge or Wheel

Graphic with a visual of all of the poses.

Sweaty Summer Yoga Flow to Strengthen and Stretch

All of the pose names in order.

Video with a demo of the flow (sped up x4…you go slower and try to hold every pose for 3-5 breaths).

Happy flowing, stretching and sweating. This one should leave you feeling like a sweaty noodle. If you need more, do the entire sequence 2x through.

Now, let’s talk about that giveaway!

Enter for a chance to win a $50 Walgreens Gift Card by visiting Walgreens.com/DoDeoBetter and leaving a comment below telling me which formula you would choose.

This post is sponsored by Mirum Shopper but the opinions and yoga flow are my own. Thank you for your continued support and I hope you enjoy this post!

Life Lately: Summer So Far

Life Lately: Summer So Far

I want to bottle up this summer and make it last forever (well, maybe minus the wildly hot and humid weather that makes running a big thumbs down). I mentioned this in my last post…but I am really enjoying the slower pace and the days that feel like they have more space. While I’m trying [...]

So Many Dinner Ideas
