Hi guys! I hope you had a great Monday! Whatever you do, don’t miss the end of this post because I have partnered with friend and fellow Charlottean Erin McDermott on an awesome jewelry giveaway and a discount code that’s sure to make your holiday shopping a breeze!

But first…a few weekend highlights!

WEEKEND

My weekend was yoga, yoga and more yoga. Tanner had a conference so I subbed a couple of his classes along with teaching my own for a total of 5 between Friday and Sunday. Classes were so packed on Saturday morning and I had 92 freaking yogis in my 11:15 a.m. and they brought all the best energy with them. It was incredible.

hummus, avoado and egg wrap

I was more than ready for lunch after teaching two classes on Saturday morning and meeting Virginia for a run. You have to trust me on this wrap combo, it’s my new favorite and I ate it three days in a row last week.

Cedar’s spinach wrap with hummus, avocado, sliced hardboiled egg, pepper jack cheese and greens. The egg + hummus + avocado combo is so, so good.

y2 yoga prenatal massage

After lunch I headed back to the studio for a prenatal massage with our lead therapist, Amanda. Y’all, I haven’t had a massage in over four months because I was iffy on getting one in the first trimester (plus, I didn’t want to tell our staff that I was expecting) and man did I need this one.

I got a side-lying massage and got to snuggle that big pillow and it was life changing. I actually liked being on my side more than my belly because I always get so congested and puffy when I’m face-down like that.

I texted Tanner after and told him it was the best thing that had happened to me since I was pregnant. Haha.

And then I went to Nordstrom and treated myself to a new pair of Uggs. Say what you will about them but nothing beats Uggs for to/from the studio and errands, especially when you’re cold natured.

whole foods amazon prime turkey coupon

With everything I have going on this week, I thought it best for my sanity to go ahead and do all of my Thanksgiving grocery shopping on Saturday. (Know your limitations.) Big tip: Whole Foods is offering big discounts on turkeys with Amazon Prime coupons. Download it on your phone and scan at checkout!

Needless to say, I did nothing but veg around the house on Saturday night.

poppy's bagels charlotte

As I was getting ready for bed on Saturday, I told myself I’d finally get that bagel I’d been craving for breakfast on Sunday. I have had bagels on my mind for a few weeks now. I don’t really love getting dressed and leaving the house on Sunday mornings (well, not sure if you can call what I did “dressed” but you know…) but the bagel run was worth it. I went to Poppy’s and got a honey wheat bagel with veggie cream cheese. I brought it home and had it with an egg and a grapefruit.

homemade sourdough bread

And then I baked four loaves of sourdough while I worked on the computer. My loaves turned out so well this time and I had so much fun playing sourdough fairy and dropping them off to friends later that afternoon after teaching yoga. (Two fellow preggos and BFF Dorie.)

My day ended with a quick stop by Trader Joe’s before coming home to relax and make dinner.
