30-Minute Fast Power Yoga Flow Video

I’m back with another yoga flow video, as promised. This time instead of a deep stretch I’ve got a 30-minute fast power yoga flow for you. I’m working on a new yoga project behind the scenes and I can’t wait to share the details with you guys very soon! 🙂

30-Minute Fast Power Yoga Flow Video

Let’s talk about what to expect from this flow. It’s similar to a warm up that I would teach in my normal classes where the flow is close to one breath per pose. The faster flow allows you to build heat through movement and breath and also provides a little more of that workout feel that so many love to get from power yoga.

Peaceful Warrior

The flow features three rounds of mini-flow that are repeated three times through and in between each there are active rest breaks for things like forward folds, twists, low lunges, side body stretches, etc.

I would say that a basic knowledge of yoga postures would be helpful for doing this flow. Don’t be discouraged if you try it and feel a little lost the first time. You will quickly pick up on the overall pace and rhythm of it all with some repetition! And for those of you who want a slower flow, don’t worry…I’ll be posting some of those too! 🙂

Side Plank Tree Variation

The flow also includes core strengthening exercises, a ton of chaturangas for upper body strengthening, backbends and a short floor stretch at the end. YAY!

30-MINUTE FAST POWER YOGA FLOW VIDEO

Here’s the video! I am demoing the flow (I think I was 24 weeks pregnant when I filmed this FYI) and I recorded the audio instructions over it. The flow has no music but feel free to add your own playlist if you’d like. I have hundreds on my Spotify account so go check it out!

As always, I’m open to your feedback and suggestions so that I can make sure that I’m delivering yoga flows and workouts in ways that are most helpful to you!

What’s your favorite style of yoga?

Happy Memorial Day Weekend. It’s a very rainy one here in Charlotte and while I am a little bummed not to be spending the weekend in Florida with the fam or by the pool at our swim club (just opened for the season!), I’m also welcoming a slower pace and time at home. It’s been [...]

Moab Run The Rocks Race Recap (3 Day Stage Race)

I cannot believe it’s been nearly a month since I completed Moab Run The Rocks!
