This post is going to be super quick. There is way too much going on right now! Today was the weirdest day I’ve had in a long time. All day I was forgetting things and mixing things up. I’m hoping I can blame it on stress.
I started the day at Y2 for a hot vinyasa class since I don’t know if I’ll be able to practice for the rest of the week. I ended up making THREE trips to Y2 today – first for class, second because I forgot my YogiToes mat towel and the third trip was to get my YMCA time card which apparently fell out of my jacket pocket.
Breakfast was a new oatmeal mix. I kept the oats plain – just soy milk, oats, pinch salt, chia seeds and ground flax – and topped them off with diced strawberries, almond butter and Crofter’s. It was okay but not something I think i’ll do again. Needed more flavor in the oats.
Kept it real with lunch today. An old favorite resurfaced.
Peanut butter and jelly!!!! Kashi crackers, carrots and unpictured cantaloupe (only so much would fit on the mini Chinet plate). Enjoyed at my desk since I was late to work after I had to make my second trip to the yoga studio.
I taught BodyPump tonight and I realized on my way to work that I forgot to pack my shoes. I had my clothes, mic belt and music but forgot my shoes! Seriously, where was my head today!? BodyPump was great – big class. Continued the Go Heavy challenge!
Dinner tonight was super simple because all of our kitchen stuff is packed.
Whole grain pasta, red sauce and a sprinkle of Parmesan. A little garlic baguette on the side. Yikes – need to get and extra dose of veggies in tomorrow. Today has been pretty carb heavy! I was excited because usually Brandon complains about whole grain pasta but tonight I don’t think he could even tell. I’ m so sneaky.
We’re closing on our house tomorrow!!! Wish us luck!
