December Bodyweight Tabata Workout

I got lots of comments, emails and messages about the tabata workout that I posted last month. Many of you are using it and like the tabata format. I’ve received requests for more variations of the workout so you can mix it up a little. I’ve put together a new bodyweight tabata circuit. You can take this one on the road if you’re traveling this holiday season or knock it out at home or in the gym for a quick and efficient workout requiring no equipment.

I have added in some new movements this time so I made a quick video demoing all the exercises. Please note that in the video I am only showing you form/technique and not performing the actual intervals!

    This looks great! I’m going to try when I get home. I’m fairly new to tabata…well actually this will be my first time doing it alone, so I just looked up the app you mentioned in your previous post and noticed there is a free one now! Hopefully that’ll work 🙂

    Great workout! Tabata is where it’s at if you’re looking to get in a quick intense workout.

    This is such a great workout! And that demo is really helpful!! Definitely trying it out.

    I love Tabata training. Fast and furious! I have been doing Tabatas in my bootcamp classes recently. This morning I went back to one minute rounds and it felt like an eternity!!! Thanks for sharing.

    Yay! So thrilled you posted a new one of these. I’ve done the previous one quite a few times and I’ve really been loving it. It’s a great way for me to get in a quick workout before heading into the office early.
    Also, you’re Christmas decor/tree are super cute!

    Just tried this workout! Holy cow….it really got my heart rating going! I love that it was a mix of cardio and strength training. I wanted something quick and effective. This totally worked. Love workouts that you can do at home. It never fails to surprise me how hard body weight workouts can be. Can’t wait to try some of your other workouts!

    Hi! I had a baby 6 weeks ago and I decided to do this workout as my first workout back. I was able to squeeze it in during nap time and it was great as it required NO equipment. I downloaded a Tabata app on my phone which made it so much easier (actually you may have recommended this at some point in one of your posts). Anyways if you can post more workouts like this (easy to do at home, little or no equipment, etc.) I would really appreciate it! Love your blog! Thanks 🙂
