2024 Christmas Crusher Workout

Hark the fitness angels sing…the 2024 Christmas Crusher is HERE! This festive annual tradition is in its 11th year which is so hard to believe! To be honest, I was going to retire the Christmas Crusher after a strong 10 year run but one of my longtime clients shared it’s something she looks forward to every year. I got nostalgic and decided to keep it alive!

This year’s workout is short and sweet but it will definitely land me on the naughty list! As written, it comes in at 27 minutes but if you want a little more cheer – add a 400 meter (0.25 mile) run after each round.

This Christmas Crusher features a blend of six bodyweight and dumbbell movements. The work intervals are timed and you’ll do one minute of each movement for four rounds with one minute of rest between each round.

Here it is!

  3. Jingle Bell Swings – kettlebell or dumbbell swings

ENJOY THE HOLIDAY – WITHOUT THE PRESSURE TO WORKOUT!

I wanted to take a minute to share a very important reminder. You don’t have to workout on Christmas or during the holidays. A day, a few days or a week out of your normal routine will not derail you. Sometimes the absolute best thing to do is give yourself a break! Maybe you need the extra rest, want to focus on quality family time or have a hectic travel schedule. Give yourself grace – workout if it feels right and skip it if it doesn’t serve you!

I’ve shared these workouts for many years. It’s a fun tradition but I absolutely never want to imply that you *need* to be working out on Christmas.

Big hugs friends! Merry, merry!
Jen

Moab Run The Rocks Race Recap (3 Day Stage Race)

I cannot believe it’s been nearly a month since I completed Moab Run The Rocks! It’s a three-day stage race in Moab, Utah that’s put on by the same race organization, TransRockies Rockies Race Series, that I did my six-day Colorado race with back in August. TransRockies truly excels when it comes to planning and [...]

Moab, Utah Trip Recap (put this on your bucket list)

I recently spent four nights in Moab, Utah for a three-day stage trail race called Moab Run The Rocks.
