One year ago today was my last day working in advertising. After six years of working in advertising and marketing after college, I took off in a new direction to pursue my passion for fitness and health.
What a year it’s been. I will be back this week for a deeper reflection on everything that has happened in the last year but overall I cannot believe that I pulled it all off.
The craziest thing is that I was in Asheville this same exact weekend last year to celebrate my new direction. And here I am again with friends and we’re celebrating again…this time for another who is heading in a new life direction. It’s a little bittersweet. And a lot surreal.
Here are some highlights, we’re off to yoga and brunch!

Hot tub recovery after a 10 mile hike.
Dinner out in Asheville with a last stop at French Broad Chocolate Lounge for dessert. You’ve never seen four ladies so happy.
