All About My Book + How To Pre-Order Ultimate Plank Fitness

This day has been a long time coming but I’m excited to share with you that I am officially a published author.


My book, Ultimate Plank Fitness: 101 Plank Exercises for a Strong Core, Killer Abs – And a Killer Body, will release on March 15, 2015! Today I’m giving you a sneak peek into my book along with information on how to pre-order…and if you pre-order you’ll get a cool gift and a chance to win online personal training with yours truly. 15 months after the projects inception, I finally received the printed copy of my book last week. It is surreal to see the project come to life. The book is beautiful and turned out better than I ever imagined.

The book features 101 plank exercises that are divided into sections such as bodyweight, unstable surface, weights, plyometrics, etc. Within each section there are chapters that feature different variations and equipment such as side planks, forearm planks, BOSU planks, stability ball planks, gliding disk planks, etc.

For each of the 101 planks you will find full-color photography demonstrating the exercise along with written instructions that include modifications, key performance points, common faults and a payoff.

And in the back of the book you will find 10 different workouts that combine the various plank exercises in the book for a killer 5 minutes of core training.

    Congratulations, this is so awesome! I can only imagine how much time you had to devote to putting it together but it definitely shows from what I can see! You should be very proud of yourself – it’s one thing to get an idea in our head, it’s another to get it to flow and look pretty on paper in book form.

    Just a warning though, requiring a purchase for an entry into a giveaway is against FTC regulations. I work in a field that does giveaways and have a lot of experience with this, and cringe when bloggers do it bc I know soon enough you’re going to have every troll on the Internet reminding you of this. Technically law requires that you state “No purchase necessary”

      Yes – this is true. Under the FTC page on “prize scams”, you cannot compel people to buy things in order to enter a sweepstakes. This contest is in violation of that.

    Awesome! Congratulation! It’s got to be so exciting to see your hard work come to life. The book looks great. I’m eager to order it, as core strength is one of my weakest areas. After over a year of physical therapy to correct diastasis recti, I’m almost ready to start “real” core exercises again and your book will be a great place to start.
