Hi and good evening. Thanks for the great feedback on the Arm Sculpting Workout. I was excited to hear from several of you that you already tried it. For those of you who had questions about my use of the word toning in the graphic, I’m just going to state that it’s a common catch phrase and if you’ve been reading this blog for ANY length of time you know I’m all about building muscle and encouraging women to strength train and it’s something I’ve addressed and written about many, many times in the past. Not going there again tonight!
My Wednesday was a little mid-week treat. I taught a yoga class at 6:30 a.m., trained clients at 9 and 10:30 and then had a lunch meeting at noon. After that I miraculously realized that I had the afternoon and evening off! I went back to Target (god help me) to return a few things and of course ended up spending more money but I love everything that I brought home for the house and for my closet so it’s all good! I spent the rest of the day with computer work, cleaning the house, laundry, running and meeting a friend for dinner. Days like this are few and far between so I soaked it up!
Here’s a look at life lately.
Food
I actually jumped off the green smoothie wagon a few days this week for breakfast in favor of sourdough toast with jam and watermelon.
But then I managed to fit in a green smoothie later in the day.
Takeout salad from Crisp with spinach, avocado, walnuts, dried cranberries, feta, pears and grilled tofu.
Homemade enchiladas. Recipe coming at you soon.
Chicken flatbread out with a friend. There was also a side of french fries! 😉
Life
Beautiful flowers.
Beautiful sun-bathed Sullie.
Beautiful 4 mile run on a 93 degree afternoon for National Running Day.
Anyone else celebrate National Running Day?

It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost a month since I ran the Every Woman’s Marathon! One of the fun things about this year’s race was getting to visit Scottsdale, Arizona. It was my first time in Arizona and while it was a quick trip, I tried to maximize my time there. Here’s a [...]

In keeping with tradition, I’m coming in hot with a last-minute gift guide. As much as I’d like to think that one day I’ll be the kind of person who has their holiday shopping done before Black Friday…it’s just not a likely scenario. And I’m okay with that! I hope this list helps you finish [...]
