Burger Night

I think one of the most difficult things about blogging on a daily basis is actually not finding the time for it but rather doing it regardless of what’s going on in your life. Being human, most of you understand that things are constantly changing, ebbing and flowing. And in this current moment I am in a sea of that right now with my swimmies on and treading water as fast as I can to stay afloat as I navigate my way through career, family and life stuff. (We all have so much “stuff”!!!)

The beautiful reality is that I will not drown. I actually love to swim and I continue to discover over and over and over again that when I go with the current that life is directing me in, the right things happen. Lots to update y’all on soon so hang with me. Time will be right when it’s right!

So speaking of life lately…

I had to make a super fun trip to the license plate office on the Monday after a long weekend. The line was long but we got business taken care of. I am TERRIBLE about procrastinating on this kind of stuff so I was pleased to knock it out.

I rewarded myself with a trip to ALDI since it’s on the way home. I picked up a few of my favorite staples including their amazing flax flatbread, cheeses, chocolate, prosciutto, nets and a few other things.

I did a quick rough photo shoot today for a yoga advanced asana variations, arm balances and inversions project I’m thinking about working on. It is not fun to bust out these poses when you are not warm.

Stayed at the studio after I got the shots, taught and took and then picked up a venti iced coffee on the way home. Clearly, Sullie needed it more than her momma! Look at that pathetic face!

Dinner tonight was a burger with pimento cheese. I’ve been craving one for weeks and it was time to give into it!

When’s the last time you had a burger? What kind was it?

In keeping with tradition, I’m coming in hot with a last-minute gift guide. As much as I’d like to think that one day I’ll be the kind of person who has their holiday shopping done before Black Friday…it’s just not a likely scenario. And I’m okay with that! I hope this list helps you finish [...]
