The last five days of my life have been…a blur. I’ll share them with you the best way that I know how, with pictures.

It is a complete breath of fresh air to drive Uptown every day to work. The days have been long with training/teaching in the morning, working during the day, training/teaching again in the evenings and then blog stuff at night but for the next six weeks, it’s totally worth it.

I’m working for the Charlotte Observer as the content manager for a new running website that is launching Monday. I’ll be sure to share it with you guys next week when it goes live. You will definitely want to follow along…I’ll be writing several articles per day about various running topics.

Can we talk about this please? I laughed when I walked into work yesterday and was greeted by multiple donut boxes…Krispy Kreme and DD! Takes me back to my agency days at Luckie & Company where we had Krispy Kreme and muffins every Friday.

My Friday treat of choice was cashing in a rewards beverage for a triple soy latte.

This is what Sullie thinks about mom going back to work. I have been sure to give her lots of extra love and we’ve been going for really long walks when I get home at night.

Friday night recovery included the couch, a nice bottle of wine, a grilled cheese and a movie.

7.12tank

I spent Saturday morning teaching doubles at Om Yoga. Love, love, love teaching at this studio. I treated myself to a new tank after class. Cannot resist all things Funky Yoga. Here is a link to the tank. I got requests for it on Instagram!

7.12paint.jpg

And Saturday afternoon was dedicated to picking out paint colors. I’m painting the kitchen, kitchen cabinets, hall bathroom and guest bedroom. It took three hours and over $40 worth of sample pints but paint choices are finalized!!! I will share everything with you guys as I go! (Including how I’ve finally learned to choose paint colors.)

Off to practice yoga. Happy weekend everyone!
