Look what showed up on my doorstep today?
I’m not really sure where this thing went but I sure am glad it’s home. I joked with my yoga classes that all the Lululemon in there alone was enough to make me cry when I thought about losing the bag. Related note…I received a hardshell, upright four-roller suitcase as a gift about a year ago and I can’t recommend them enough. I’ve never had a hardshell or upright roller and I love both features. The upright rolling will change your life forever! So much better for your posture and doesn’t strain the joints having to drag something heavy behind you.
In other Friday news, this one has been pretty needy for attention and mommy time. Can you believe how much she’s grown? I swear she doubled in size while I was gone. Look how long her legs are and at all the “big girl” hair she’s growing. Those feathers on her front legs kill me with cuteness.
I have one more fun thing to share. (Fellow fitness pros…you’ll DEFINITELY want to read on!)
A few weeks ago I received a box of bars and shakes from Premier Protein.
They wanted to let me know about a new program they have going where they are recruiting 20 ambassadors to join their team. If your are chosen you receive a $5,000 grant for continuing education. How INCREDIBLE is that. I can think of at least 10 different ways I’d love to use that money.
The catch? Today (February 27) is the LAST DAY to apply. The application is quick and easy, here is the link. I meant to post this a couple of days ago but the travel madness put me behind schedule.
I sampled the shakes and the bars. The shakes have 30 grams of protein, 160 calories and 1 gram of protein. They are easy to drink after a workout for quick protein punch in that magical 30 minute refuel window.
I liked the bars a lot more than I thought I would! They sent me two types…protein and protein + fiber. The protein bars have 30 grams of protein, around 270-300 calories and around 10 grams of sugar. The protein + fiber bars have 15 grams of protein, around 200 calories and 7 grams of fiber. These bars definitely satiated my hunger and stayed with me after eating them. My favorites were the Cookies & Cream Protein + Fiber and the Yogurt Peanut Crunch Protein.
Have you tried Premier Protein products?
