It’s been a perfect Sunday. All play, no work.
Pink (no green added) smoothie for breakfast before teaching yoga (that does not count as work…it’s play!). Strawberries, banana, pineapple, mango, coconut almond milk and banana protein powder.
Brunch at Original Pancake House after teaching. Started out by hydrating – freshly squeezed OJ, coffee and water.
Protein – two eggs over medium and turkey sausage.
Carbs – blueberry buttermilk pancakes.
Three mile run followed by two hours of pool time. It was the most beautiful day in Charlotte. I skipped practicing yoga in favor of spending time outdoors.
Post-pool frozen yogurt stop.
Evening movie – The Five Year Engagement? The verdict? I love Jason Segel and the movie was entertaining and easy to watch but a little long, coming in at just over 2 hours. It dragged at points.
Herb roasted wild Scottish salmon for dinner along with a big pan of roasted veggies – zucchini, rutabaga, parsnips and baby portobellos.
