It’s been an awesome day!
I kicked it off at Y2 with a yoga practice to knock out day 2 of the 62 day challenge and then taught a 90-minute hot vinyasa. Class was full of planks and chaturanga pushups today! 😉
I finally broke my 10-day no run streak and took Sullie out for an easy three miles. There’s really no reason for my run break other than having no desire to run. Since I’m not training for anything, why force it? I just waited for it to come back to me and today the road was calling my name. I had a great run!
I mean, how can you not enjoy your run when you have a running partner who is this cute!?
Lunch was a repeat of yesterday. Peanut butter, honey and banana on honey whole wheat with grapes and pretzels.
Brandon and I spent the afternoon together running errands. It sure is nice to both be self-employed and have flexible schedules. Our first stop was Starbucks to caffeinate. I ordered a soy latte and was excited to discover that holiday cups are back!
The main event of our errand running was computer shopping! Ever since my laptop died I have been in the midst of a huge internal debate of Mac v. PC. Your comments and opinions certainly helped my decision. Man, the Mac lovers sure are vocal! I was inundated with blog comments, tweets and facebook comments telling me to “go Mac!”
I listened and I am the proud new owner of a MacBook Pro!!! 😀 😀 😀
Honestly, I went into Best Buy thinking I was going to spend half the amount of money and get a PC but I just couldn’t ignore the insane amount of encouragement to switch to Mac. Hope I like it! I’m very excited.
And now I’m off to “vino and vinyasa!” Teaching the 7:15 and then going out for wine with my yoga friends. Such a good day!
We are working to get the new design live for Peanut Butter Runner. Hang with me if there is a little bit of weirdness over the next couple of days! Some of you got a sneak peek last night! 😉
