I’m happy that it’s Friday night and we are staying in Charlotte this weekend. The next few weeks are going to be crazy with travel so I’m thankful to have this weekend to hang out and prepare.
I started this Friday my very favorite way – hot vinyasa at Y2 Yoga. I’ve been attending the Friday morning class for well over a year now and Fridays just don’t seem right without it.
Today was full of delicious eats!
Breakfast when I arrived at work was a Green Monster (banana, blueberries, strawberries, chia seeds, almond milk, ice, spinach and protein powder) and a banana muffin.
I came home for lunch and made the best sandwich ever.
Peanut butter, honey and banana. I really don’t think I will ever tire of this combination. Every single bite is so delicious! Baby carrots and Food Should Taste Good Sweet Potato Tortilla Chips on the side.
I worked my afternoon away as I sipped on a Ginger Berry Kombucha while I counted down the minutes to 5 p.m. I stopped by Earth Fare on my way home to grab some supplies for a nice Friday dinner at home.
We started out our evening with cocktails and a steamed artichoke with dipping sauce. Thanks to Tracy for making me crave artichokes today!
And a late (9:30 p.m.!) dinner of crab cakes, shrimp cocktail, mixed greens and roasted potatoes. Everything turned out great!
Wrapping up my night and heading to bed. I am launching BodyPump 77 tomorrow morning bright and early! I am teaching the back track which is so amazingly awesome, different and challenging that I can’t even stand it. I’m so excited! Back with a full review of my thoughts on the new release later this weekend.
