One of my favorite things about fall is boots! As soon as the weather starts to transition I trade in my flip flops for cozy boots. I have a nice selection of boots ranging from lounge to booties to dress to cowboy-ish but one style I was missing was a solid waterproof and warm rain boot.
Until now! I recently received a pair of Bogs Sidney Boots to try out and they are the perfect addition to round out my boot collection! I have been especially grateful to have them given the unusually high number of rainy days we’ve had in Charlotte over so far this fall.
I’ve taken them for a spin both on and off road in both dry and super wet conditions (I thought we were going to have to rent a boat instead of a truck for our recent move due to Hurricane Joaquin. Thank goodness for these boots.)
My verdict is that they keep your feet warm and dry while also being extremely comfortable. The boots came with an extra set of black laces but I’m kind of digging the red. The red laces combined with the mix of rubber and neoprene material along with a 1/2 inch stacked heel make these boots feel functional and stylish!
Here are the technical details:
- 100% waterproof
- Neo-Tech Lite insulation Bogs Max-Wick to move sweat away from your foot
- Molded EVA insole with DuraFresh and Bogs Max-Wick
- Comfort rated from temperate to 5F
They are available in whole sizes only. I sized up and they fit great with both regular and thick socks.
Sullie enjoyed testing out these boots with me on some local trails and she’s happy that I won’t have an excuse not to walk her when it’s rainy and wet this fall and winter! 🙂
