25 Minute Clock Workout + Weekly Workouts

Super quick check in tonight. My weekend has been a sea of boxes, U-Haul Trucks and eating out.

The good news? I survived moving.

Here are my workouts for the last week. More on the move coming soon in the weekend recap! For now it’s a miracle that I got this post up. 😛

Hot yoga

3 mile run + Strength

3 rounds of 15-12-9 descending reps

DB chest flies (15#)
DB tricep kickbacks (10#)
DB single leg/split lunge (back foot on bench) (15#)
Decline push ups
Tricep dips
DB front squats (holding two 15# dumbbells)

Set a clock for 25 minutes…

Minute 1: Deadlifts (95#)
Minute 2: Burpees
Minute 3: Pull Ups
Minute 4: Box Jumps

Repeat for 5 rounds, 25 minutes. I set a goal to be consistent in my reps and got 15 deadlifts, 12 burpees, 12 pull ups and 13 box jumps every minute. This was a killer workout!

Here’s a Pinable.

25 minute clock workout

3 mile run

Hot yoga

I got a fun new arm balance transition thanks to one of my fellow teachers!

6 mile run

When I woke up Saturday morning Charlotte was experiencing crazy heavy downpours. I really wanted to get a long run in because I knew we were moving on Sunday but I didn’t think it would work out. Lucky for me the skies cleared abound 9:30 a.m. and I was able to squeeze in 6 miles before teaching at 11. I wanted to get 8-9 in but there simply wasn’t time. For whatever reason, 6 totally kicked my butt and I was feeling it all day!

JK…we moved…not quite rest, huh!? 😉

What did your weekend workouts look like? Tell me about your long runs (or short runs!).

Of all your workouts, moving sounds the hardest 😉 Or those burpees…those always kill me.

Haha! I think I’d take the burpees over moving!

Moving is exhausting! Glad you are on the flip side. Good luck unpacking!

Both my saturday/sunday workouts were runs! It’s so beautiful in SF this time of year, it seems silly to do cardio indoors!

workout looks awesome i will try it tomorrow! is there 1 minute rest after the box jumps? seems like you are missing an exercise if you do 25 minutes, 5 rounds?? i think this would only equal 20 minutes with 4 exercises in 5 rounds. thanks!

Am I missing something in the workout? You said 5 round at a minute each of 4 exercises…that’s 20 minutes. Where are the extra 5 coming from??
